LMD supports many national and local charities. There is a separate article in this newsletter regarding the work
we do for the Construction Industry’s lighthouse charity.
Throughout Covid, LMD released one of its Sprinter vans and a driver to assist with food and essential equipment deliveries. For example, LMD delivered food to Chesterfield’s most vulnerable residents. The food was prepared
in Gussie’s Kitchen, a facility run by Chesterfield Borough Council.
We received a lovely ‘thank you’ note from Chesterfield Foodbank for the 232 kilos donated by the LMD team for their Christmas appeal.
At Easter, the LMD team collected
almost 100 Easter eggs which were donated to the
Foodbank. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
