CPA Good Practice Guide

The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) is the trade association for the UK plant hire industry. LMD is a proud member of the CPA.

The CPA is the home for the ‘CPA Suction and Vacuum Excavation Special Interest Group’. The members of this group worked with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to develop a ‘Good Practice Guide’ for the safe use of vacuum excavators.

The ‘Good Practice Guide’ covers all aspects of vacuum excavator operations from the selection and training of operators, through works on site, to the testing and maintenance of machines.
